Basically, the show when it first came on, was seen as a serviceable successor to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. But after The Fresh Prince ended its run in Spring 1996, NBC elected not to continue with In the House. UPN was fortunately, around to save it even though UPN itself, was still trying to gain a foothold. Did the move to UPN as well as the retooling, led to it losing momentum over time? It was a such jarring change, that took some time to get accustomed to it, don't you agree?
