Tyler Perry has come a long way, but is House of Payne really a good show? I mean what is it that attracts audiences? Why do people watch the show???

I have been a fan of Tyler Perry since discovering the Madea series of films and ever since I saw Madea's Family Reunion The Movie I started collecting every single Madea film and play I saw and so when I learned about Tyler Perry getting into sitcoms I was intrigued at how good a Tyler Perry sitcom would be and so when I heard about House Of Payne I was curious to know about it. And when I saw it on TBS I was surprised at how good House Of Payne was and it seemed that Family Matters was the inspiration for House Of Payne and it was smart to have Madea guest star on the first House Of Payne episode because it gave TBS high ratings. I saw two episodes of it then I lost track of it but I got Season 1 on DVD and it was amazing. For being a film producer and actor Tyler Perry knew what the sitcom world would do wonders and House Of Payne paid off well for Tyler Perry
