Unusual article states that after Bewitched ended Elizabeth took off and left Bill Asher and the kids behind...

Both Elizabeth and Bill had affairs and eventually she left. Geoffrey (Pop-culture historian and author Geoffrey Mark) continues, “Bill and the children didn’t really see Liz for a year. Now I’m not saying she didn’t speak to her children in that year or there weren’t visits, but she was not a full-time mother. She was not in the house and other than her accountant, nobody really knew where she was. After that year she wanted to come back to the marriage, but Bill’s heart was broken and he felt he couldn’t trust her anymore. The damage was done.”

There is no way Liz would spend a whole year away from her children, they were the most important thing to her, and she always put them above every thing.

And after Liz found out Bill Asher cheated on her, she never wanted to come back to the marriage with him, he also said that it was his fault that Liz wanted to divorce. Bill spend the rest of his life crying because he lost her, he couldn't get over her.

So everything you posted is a lie.

This must be the "year" Herbie Pilato wrote about in his bio on Liz when she moved out of her home with Bill Asher and the kids and lived with Richard Michaels in "a one bedroom apartment in West Los Angeles" and told no one where she was.
