I Had No Idea

On various occasions, I have mentioned that the first episode of this show that I ever saw was the "Emergency". The thing about this episode that sticks out in my mind is the "your purse, your purse" line. That incident is what I truly fell in love with! The lady who Nell interacted with in this scene was played by the late Hazel Shermet. She died several years ago. However, a character who had a bigger part in this episode was the nurse at the front desk of the emergency room. She was played by Liz Sheridan. I recently read a post over on You Tube about the fact that she died. This post was only a day old. This being the case, I thought that she had died within the past couple of days. I have since looked her up and found out that she had been dead since April! I am very surprised to be first learning about it!
