There were the first two actors who played Gordon, Matt Robinson and Hal Miller; Larry Block who played Tom; Charlotte Rae had a short stint as Molly; Also there were several who eventually passed away. Will Lee as Mr. Hooper, Northern Calloway as David and folk singer Malvina Reynolds had a short stint on Sesame Street as Kate.

What ever happened to the first "Gordon"? Does anyone know why he left? The current one has been on for years, hasn't he? I was still watching Sesame Street regularly when the "new Gordon" appeared. I have to admit, I watched Sesame Street a couple of times last week (and I admit that with pride!) and I didn't recognize a lot of the cast. I recognized Gordon and Susan and Maria and Luiz, but that was about it.

I would assume alot of them didnt like what they did to it and didnt wanna support it anymore...... I totally understand!

Northern Calloway who gave us David in the 70s and 80s is who I miss the most. Go here for an album of his awesome singing.
