Just added "Some of My Best Friends". A 2001 CBS sitcom with a very limited run. The entire series is on youtube.
Also added to the first post listing is the 2000 series "Madigan Men". 12 episodes and 3 unaired, there are at least 3 or more on Youtube currently. http://www.epguides.com/MadiganMen/ http://www.epguides.com/SomeofMyBestFriends/ |

It's Not Easy, a short-lived 1983 ABC sitcom with Ken Howard and Bert Convy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdzyMmNMyIU Nothing groundbreaking, but the episode did give me a few laughs. I think it aired on Thursdays against Magnum P.I., so it didn't really have a chance. Plus, sitcoms wouldn't get really big for another year. |

Either old, mostly-forgotten films are hidden in some archival room somewhere but are so obscure that they would be hard to impossible to find, or those old, mostly-forgotten films have somehow been discarded. In either case it amounts to the same. I have heard that the very very first episode of All In The Family was stored in a film archive and only after AITF became so iconic and historic in the history of TV-show broadcasting did certain people want to see the very original pilot episode, and this was only a few years after AITF was on the air, but it was said to have been somehow lost in such a vast vault of old film; and this is regarding a film that was only made in the early 1970s which considering how old TV - show broadcasting is, is not that long ago. But I guess that with the advent of VCRs a lot of people videotaped short lived TV shows since VCRs became available to the general public. If it were not for individuals who have their own recordings of certain forgotten TV shows, perhaps not even a network archive would have them |

Also of note: I was going through my links in the original post and sadly MANY of these sitcoms have been taken down for copyright. This frustrates me to no end seeing as these companies are making zero money on the shows just sitting in the vaults. So as I've said above, its important for people to try and grab them while they can (keepvid.com or some other youtube file saver). |

well it seems more of the series on the list have been taken down for copyright, how unfortunate especially when these shows have never aired in 20 plus years and most likely will never be streamed or released by the companies. I'll try to start updating the list when I can if anybody else has more series that have popped up feel free to let us know.
Updated - Added Style and Substance (1998), It's Not Easy (1983), and Maybe This Time (1995). |

Has anyone found a show called Payne? It was a short-lived American version of Faulty Towers that aired on CBS in 1999, and it had John Larroquette, Julie Benz, and JoBeth Williams.
Ran for 9 episodes with 1 unaired. |

Not a sitcom, but I just found several episodes of “Our World”(ABC, 1986-87)starring Linda Ellerbee and Ray Gandolf. It was basically ABC’s sacrificial lamb against the Cosby Show and was cancelled after one season. After acquiring my first VCR, I was able to tape two episodes(1968 and 1972)before the end.
The opening to the premiere: https://youtu.be/PjIeEHC60_Q |

After reading the most recent comments, I got the impression that the first page - along with any additions (as well as the unfortunate subtractions) - need to be updated so I will try to do so later today. Look for the updated list on a new page.

I'm been searching hi & low for King's Crossing, 1982. It was on ABC for 7 episodes only, including the pilot 75-minute movie. They made 2 or 3 more episodes that never aired. I'm guessing since it's not listed with your YouTube list on this thread, that to date nobody has uploaded their VHS recordings of this show. Any info anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!
