I really liked the first three episodes of Lou Grant I saw online awhile back. I had put its DVD on my Christmas list for a few years, gave up when it seemed the DVD was out of circulation. This gem should air on Decades weekdays at 3PM. While most of their weekday lineup is sitcoms, Lou Grant is a natural fit with The Mary Tyler Moore Show of course. The Dick Van Dyke Show would still have a good primetime hour if this change was made.

Makes sense.
Lou Grant would be a great addition. My Three Sons -- the complete series (1960 to 1972) -- needs to also be on in prime time, or late afternoon, not the extraordinary early a.m. hours it is now on on METV. Am watching Lou Grant on Youtube. But these are VCR recordings from when AE ran the series in the 1990s, but still good to watch, even the AE breaks. |
