Punky Brewster was such a cute sitcom

When you look at TV today it's surprising that you don't see cute sitcoms like Punky Brewster now and when you watch the original Punky Brewster you can see how cute it was compared to the now cancelled Peacock reboot that aired. Punky Brewster was always my favorite sitcom because it reminded me of myself when I was little when me and my late godfather would hang out together and do fun stuff and my godfather watched Punky Brewster when it aired and when he saw it he thought Punky Brewster reminded him of me and he would nickname me Punky Brewster sometimes. But I think the main reason why Punky Brewster became a smash hit was because it was simply a fun show with interesting storylines in each episode and the theme song was so cute too and it's shocking that Gary Portnoy also sang it because he was known for singing the theme song for Cheers
