That is nice that she could stay at home when her kids are little , cool that Deacon makes enough money !

But Kelly totally strikes me as the type of woman who would get her own job/ career once the boys got older! She's too pretty and sophisticated to be content just staying home !

Well, she takes the kids to school, does some errands, makes dinner, then after the news she opens for business!

I think she did get a job when the kids got older and when Spence became the nanny. I don't remember what kind of job she got but I do vaguely recall her and Deacon both rushing out of their apartment to get to their separate jobs.

I assume she worked before they had kids but i don't think she was trained for anything high level.
