The one where the big man on campus gets handsy with Betty and Bud plops himself down on the couch like a watch dog.
The next night, Betty goes out with the same guy and objects when he wants to go to the lover's point and get even more handsy with her. Why did she go for the second date if she knew what this guy wanted? |

She could always start talking about her previous boyfriend if things got too heavy, and she needed a "get out of jail free" card.

Jim and Margaret were more concerned about his (Ron Ely's) behavior than hers. She was probably 20 or 21 by then, and they might have thought she was too old for a "lecture", but they could have said something about Betty's judgment in accepting that second date.
I agree, she should have expected a pass. Maybe she was playing games. Had he not made a move, she could have been as disappointed as she was when the guys didn't whistle at her. |

Holy crap, Batman! Betty told the future Tarzan, no?
I had no idea who that was. Oh, she is a game player for sure. Darn, that girl. |
