Default Jack Soo in Ironside

Buffalo no longer has its RTN programming -- however before it went off the air, I taped several episodes of Ironside.

Jack Soo appeared in The Over-The-Hill episode -- he played a laundry owner who was also a fence for stolen jewelry.

The episode is a reminder of the variety of roles Jack Soo did -- and what a good actor he always was.

Has anyone else watched this episode??

I've never seen Ironside, but I do know that another Barney Miller actor also had a guest appearance on it - Gregory Sierra (). I also know that Jack guested on M*A*S*H, and I also enjoyed his performance in Flower Drum Song. He left us way too soon.

I sure wish I could have seen that episode with Jack Soo.

Default Jack Soo in Ironside

Jack Soo's part was rather small but he played it well -- sorry that I don't have the means to make copies.

That's OK - I think Ironside has begun to see DVD releases, so I'll keep my eyes out.

I have never seen this episode with Jack Soo, what season of Ironside.
I have an episode of Police Woman, that Jack Soo appeared on. I know, that the 6th season of Hawaii five O is going to be released this summer. For all of you Barney Miller fans, check out an episode, which both Gregory Sierra and a (very young) Ron Glass appear on. Ron Glass plays a pimp. and Gregory Sierra plays a bad guy. It is good stuff!!!

Tara, it's because of you that I have that Hawaii Five-O ep. I can see why Gregory was in such demand to play bad guys. He was smooth, charming, but deadly when crossed...and did I mention HOT?? () Anyway, it's an interesting period piece. The clothes especially date the episode, but Barney Miller fans should definitely check it out.

FYI, the DVD is set to be released on April 21st. Hey, sometimes, it is a lot of fun, watching old episodes of certain shows, and seeing the dated clothing that people used to wear.

Default Jack Soo in Ironside

Oh, the episode I watched with Jack Soo was part of the Ironside series (not Streets).

It was called "The Over-the-Hill Blues" and was part of Season 8 -- Leslie Neilsen was the other guest star.

Buffalo has had its RTN programming cancelled so by a strange coincidence, this was the last Ironside episode that I was able to tape.

I meant to say, Ironside; see what happens when you are tired and typing at the same time?

Ha, I think I was having Ron Glass on the brain, because he appeared on an episode of The Streets of San Francisco.
