Hopefully soon we’ll get a release date for Volume 3 of the Netflix series. When they announced it last year, it was supposed to be released this summer.

More like DB Cooper WHO Are You? Lol.
I have always been fascinated with this case so I look forward to the Netflix docu. As far as Volume 3 of Unsolved I am not holding my breath on it. Netflix cancelled a lot of planned shows due to their loss of subscribers and financial decline. Unsolved wasn't exactly a big hit but hopefully we at least get one more season. |

I hope this is an objective look at the evidence and not something along the lines of a Discovery Channel special where they have their suspect and shoehorn things to fit.
Or like TIGHAR coming out every 2 years with an announcement about the Earhart case being "Solved" |

And.. It was.. Interesting. Finally got around to watching it.
Long story short, first episode is background, second and third really focused on Colbert and his investigation trying to tie Rackstraw to being DB Cooper. Which.. I was thinking "Where's the evidence putting him in the area and/or where's the money?" Neither of which they had anything on. Then.. When they started talking about how many investigators they had on the 'team'.. Something clicked with me. The 'team' is the same one who recently 'solved' the Zodiac case. I get nothing but TIGHAR vibes from them. When you're relying on someone who 'broke the code' and someone comes along and says that the code matches "I am Spongebob Squarepants" as well.. That's not good evidence. |

Quality documentaries are actually not particularly cheap to produce. Poor quality documentaries are cheap to produce, but since Netflix subscribers don't really care either way that is not a problem.
I am not sure I would call these a documentary so much as a docudrama, more akin to some of the more recent history channel programs. Presenting highly questionable research or theories as near fact and "solving" cases... |

That guy needs serious mental help. Already had the other documentary where they came in & discredited his case piece by piece, he couldn't accept it & it was obvious he was going to keep harassing the guy. Even after death he will not leave him in peace.

FWIW.. You all can now see the total 180 I've done on this Case Breakers team. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt when they first reported the Zodiac stuff.. But.. Yeah.. No benefits for them anymore. |

I stopped I think half way through the second episode.
Nothing new, nothing insightful, a bunch of conspiracy nuts with shades of Q running around accusing and harassing strangers that they're DB Cooper. Stupid. Felt like that CBS JonBenet debacle. Maybe someone'll sue, it'd serve them right. |

But.. E4 had.. I thought that was interesting. It focused on the 'legacy' of Cooper and the case. So.. I'd ask you to watch that one, knowing you're not really going to LEARN much about the case.. Everything is basically out there and has been other than some of the newer crackpot theories. But.. My opinion.. E4 is worth a watch. Give it a shot just to come back and ask me what the hell I was thinking if you didn't like it. I'd kinda like to see if others share my opinion and got enjoyment from that one. |

D.B., D.B. Coo, where are you?
You’ve got a plane to loot now. D.B., D.B. Coo, where are you? It’s time to parachute now. (You’re welcome.) |

Awful. How the hell did this get made on a platform like Netflix? These "citizen sleuths" seemed rather unhinged.
And not nearly as important, but I found the overall presentation and graphic design cheap and tacky. I had to watch the Stack UM episode afterwards to cleanse. |

Not f&%ing Rackstraw again. He was just some attention-seeking turd who lived to regret his stupidity.
I won't even hit the play button on the preview for this. No, thanks. As fascinating as this case is, I'm pretty much D.B. Coopered out. So is the FBI. Give us something compelling and I'll jump right back in with a sewn-up parachute. |
