Aw, how sad. I recognized the name but didn't actually remember until I read the article posted here. Yes, I DO remember her on Back to the Future and guest-starring on Who's the Boss? among other shows.

I had seen her abt a year ago when she appeared on our local news/entertainment show...she looked great. She was talking abt her cancer and she was just as funny and beautiful as she was then in her younger days. I am so sad to know that cancer finally took it's toll and that God decided to take her home. May she now rest in peace...

I know she had it for quite a long time. I saw her a while ago when she had a bosum buddy reunion with the entire cast (including Ton Hanks) for cancer research. She looked so happy to be with all of them.

That's sad, I never knew she was ill either. I feel for her children. It's so hard being a teenager and i can't even imagine what it's like to lose a parent during that time.

This is a shame. I love the Back to the Future movies too, and I liked her character (she played Marty's sister.) I liked her part in the McFly family's dinnertime scene in the first movie - when Lorraine is explaining how she and George met, she exclaims, "That was so stupid, Grandpa hit him with the car!" And then she calls the dance they went to "The Fish Under the Sea dance" - it's "The Enchantment Under the Sea."
