Xfinity has removed Ion Mystery from our lineup and replaced it with COMET - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I just found out earlier today that Ion Mystery has been dropped from our lineup and it's been replaced by COMET.

I'm not happy about this because now I won't be able to see shows like American Greed and Unsolved Mysteries anymore.

I take it ION Mystery is a separate channel from the main ION. When I was at my grandparents' house awhile back they had Comet, it was nice seeing Andromeda there.

Have you checked your local diginets?

Here in Fort Wayne we have Ion Mystery on 2 diginet channels 15.4 and 55.4.

Right now they are showing Unsolved Mysteries, but starting at 4 PM until 2 AM they are showing "Cheaters", which is a show I've never felt much interest in.

Tomorrow will be "Leverage", CSI:NY, & Crime 360

Comet is on channel 2.2 in Ft Wayne now.

That is good to know about Leverage. ION Mystery must be the channel that used to be Escape then.

Looks like Ion Mystery is channel 1168 on xfinity, in addition to the 2 diginets

Wish Ft Wayne would get a Decades channel

Hi MA - what happened is that our local diginet affiliates changed. Xfinity was carrying Ion Mystery via WFXT 25.2. Ion Mystery is now carried on 68.2 only, the ION station (owner Scripps wants to place all its diginets on owned and operated stations whoever possible).

WFXT replaced Ion Mystery with Comet, which was previously on the .3 subchannel of WSBK. WSBK replaced Comet with TBD (which is also on 27.4). You’d think instead of having duplicates, one of these stations could carry Antenna TV or Decades.

Yes. Our affiliate used to be the Movies! channel from 2013-2016 until it got replaced by Escape!.

It also would've been nice to see Rewind TV replace one of the duplicates.
