Did you notice something REALLY stupid about the episode "Guest of Honor"? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The pickpocket shakes hands with the crowd outside the courthouse but you can clearly tell that he's not stealing anything. Plus a watch is securely fastened with a belt like strap so you can't take it off by simply shaking someone's hand!

Also in the pickpockets hotel room Barney clearly puts his keys in his right pocket & the pickpocket doesn't go near it yet somehow he magically steals it??!?

I know it's a just a TV but everything on here is so I thought I'd point it out.

Doesnt he steal the police chiefs watch in the beginning of the episode and the cops who are running him out of town just let him go.
