TV

I didn't know he appeared on "Step By Step" however he made an appearance on 1 episode of "The Jeffersons" and he was about about 6 years old I believe.

I happen to catch that episode when I tuned in TVLAND

He was also one of Ashley's boyfriends on "Fresh Prince in Bel Air".

Steve Urkle, Jalee White(spelling) Also played on the pilot episode of Good Morning Miss Bliss, before it became Saved by the bell. They had that Pilot with all different actors/actresses on it instead of the ones who played on Saved by the Bell.

Most of you already knew that. I still got that episode with him in it.

Also Jaleel White played on Step by Step another time as himself pretending to be a person helping with a so called movie, he was never credited with doing that part.

He was in the second episode, and then the "movie one" was in the last season.

Lets not forget about grown up Jaleel on the short lived UPN sitcom "Grown Ups" during the 1999-2000 season. It came on after Moesha. I forgot about his appearence in the pilot of Good Morning Miss Bliss. Either way, he would have probably been typecasted like he is today. Jaleel hates the Urkel character so much that he rather be killed than to do it again as he is known to say interviews.

I can't blame him, if I was him, not only I would hate it, I would be tired of playing the Urkel character for 9 years

The producers should have allowed Urkel to grow up. As the rest of the Winslow kids grew, Urkel's antics remained the same.

They wanted the character to stay the same, because that's how Steve became famous. They didn't want to mess with a good concept, I guess.
