I remember this show. It was a long time ago, but I remember watching it and thinking it was pretty good. it was essentially a knockoff of Saturday Night Fever.

Of course, that was nearly forty years ago, so I don't know if the show would hold up today.

While the show itself wasn't a hit, the theme song was and was later included in the movie Meatballs, which came out a few months after the series ended in the summer of '79.
