When do they stop using bunkbeds? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The one where Beaver tries to move into the guest room, but ends up running back and sleeping with Wally is the last time I notice that they use the beds that way. I might be wrong though.

But seriously I think Tanker is right. They lost the bunks sometime in the first season, and this may be it.

Well, to be fair, the pill did not come out until the 60s and was not working consistently well until the 70s so bunk beds were probably the best birth control available at that time.

As a self-proclaimed "maven" of this series, they always slept in twin beds side by in both the old house (seasons1/2) and the remainder of this show.
