No. As far as I remembered, it was always on Monday night.

No, it was on Monday nights and it didn't air on ABC it aired on NBC. It was part of the monday line-up with Blossom for most of its run.

But TGIF doesn't mean ABC. That means any Friday show although I acknowledge Fresh Prince wasn't on Friday.

Wasn't Hangin with Mr.Cooper on Fridays?

Not correct. TGIF which stands for Thank Goodness It's Funny was a specific programming block created by ABC to air their hit family comedies. It refers to a specific block of programming aired on ABC, which happened to air on Friday nights.

Here is a wikipedia link that explains it all:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TGIF_(...gramming_block)

As for Hanging with Mr. Cooper, yes it did air on Friday nights as part of the TGIF block from 1993 to 1996.

I voted Perfect Strangers.

It was a pretty popular show back then that now has TOTALLY disappeared & you never see it in syndication.

He completely disappeared after doing Step by Step where he had another funny role.

Boy Meets World receives my vote because it holds such nostalgia in my heart, followed closely by Sabrina!

Had to go with "Boy Meets World" although I watched most of the block religiously and have seen every episode of it, "Family Matters", "Full House" and "Step by Step." I've also seen all the ABC eps. of "Sabrina" although it's been years since I re-watched them.

"Boy Meets World" (and its spinoff, "Girl Meets World" to a lesser extent) just had such great messages and could tackle serious topics well while adding comedy as well.
