I never had cable but I remember when they aired Grady. I don't know how I remember all of this but the day was Tuesday, August 27, 2002. I was 11 years old and in 6th grade. My dad had brought home a USA Today newspaper that night and I saw the television guide in it and I remember it had lots of Norman Lear shows and I remember they were in this exact order: All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Good Times, Sanford and Son, Maude, Grady. At that time, I had only seen All in the Family and The Jeffersons but I really wanted to see the others.

I knew i had joined the site around the same time that episode aired but it looks like it was 10 days before the Norman Lear thon. I was thinking I joined the site the same night Grady aired. That was first year of having WEBTV |
