Days of Our Lives' John Aniston to Receive Lifetime Achievement Emmy

Actor John Aniston, who has played the villainous Victor Kiriakis on the legendary NBC soap Days of Our Lives since 1985, will be honored with a special Lifetime Achievement Emmy Award at this year's ceremony.

The 88-year-old Aniston, father of superstar Friends actress Jennifer Aniston, has acted in soaps for well-over fifty years. He started his career on the long-running soap Love of Life and also played Martin Tourneur, the husband of heroine Jo (Mary Stuart) on Search for Tomorrow from 1980-84. Aniston was originally cast on Days of Our Lives as a different, short-lived character all-the-way back in in 1969!
