Default Did Elizabeth Montgomery attend Dick York's funeral?

I just started watching Bewitched again on FETV so I was wondering about this because Dick York died a pretty awful death. I know Elizabeth Montgomery's death was even worse but York was already gone by then. If he was alive & physically capable I'm sure he would've attended.

Who else from the Bewitched cast attended York's funeral? What other celebrities attended?

I'm sure she did not but I think it may have been private also.

I don't know if there were any celebrities at his funeral. From what I understand, it was pretty small, and I doubt they would've traveled to Grand Rapids, MI for it. AFAIK, they could only afford one plot when he died, so that's why his wife is buried a few graves down from him. Very sad.

This is so sad about the plots. I wish someone from the show had stepped up but they probably were not aware of this. Dick York deserved so much better than this.

Not aware of it??

I'm sure this made the national news when York died especially because we didn't have all the distractions from the internet back then.

But Hollywood circles definitely heard about it & you're right. Somebody should've stepped up. It would've been pocket change to Elizabeth & many others in Hollywood.

No she didn't, and right before he died York said he and Liz never talked since Bewitched ended. So why would Liz have to go to a funeral of someone who she hasn't seen nor talked for 30 years?

However Liz did go to Sargent's funeral and she said how much she's gonna miss him because he was a close friend of her.

And you want to know why did Liz and Sargent were friends but Liz and York not? because York treated her badly in the Bewitched years and made her feel uncomfortable, he was madly in love with her and couldn't keep it to himself. So it's understandable why Liz wanted him out of her life.

How did he treat her badly??

Elizabeth Montgomery had at least 1 affair on the set with a director so she was no angel.

York was so much better as Darrin you'd think Elizabeth would've noticed that too.

Elizabeth had an affair only when she found out her husband was cheating on her.

According to the producer of Bewitched, York was constantly looking at her with creepy faces. There's a video of York talking about Liz like she was a sexual object, he even said Liz was "sex all over", and if you read the comments most of the people who watched this video said York sounds like a pervert

No, he did not say "creepy faces" or anything like you seem to be obsessed with continually saying on this board.
