One show that immediately came to mind was when John Wilson tries to teach Dennis to stand up to bullies, and he puts his fists up and dances in front of the bully to show Dennis how to handle him and the bully says, "oh brother" and smacks John in the eye. John with his fists up dancing in front of that kid looked funny.

^ This was a third season episode. Martha was still around at this point ... but that is definitely one of Gale Gordon's best moments.

That kid should have been put over somebody's knee. At least Dennis meant well, but that kid was all brat.

I had to read that comment a couple times to realize who you meant lol.
There were times during the series that Dennis himself should have been put over a knee! A few times in the fourth season, I found him particularly obnoxious and bratty. "A Tax on Cats" comes to mind.

Good point. I meant the kid who punched John Wilson and bullied Dennis.

One thing Dennis did that was out of line, was probably in the second season, when he and Wilson had in common that they couldn't whistle. Dennis was in Quigley's store and Quigley was making fun of George when he found out George couldn't whistle. This made Dennis lose his cool, and he upended a fruit display. Quigley should have called his parents about that one.

I'm amused that DTM's producers think little female children in (then) contemporary British Hong Kong dress like this. Racist? That not's cricket, old boy! *whistles innocently*:
