Default What did the other girls think of Molly making the Time Magazine cover?

I wonder what the other girls thought of Molly making the cover of Time Magazine in 1986? I think the only one who mentioned it was Mindy who said Molly gave the biggest FU the producers and network execs in her post-Facts career.

Oo, great question of speculation! I bet they talked about it. I wonder if one of them brought an issue of that TIME onto the set and they passed it around and squealed and reflected on her and on their time working with her "back when she was just one of us"?

"The only magazine cover I thought she'd make is the cover of Boy's Life."

(I know, I know. That was Cindy. But still).

Oh, I'll bet they cared! Yes, they were big stars, but a former colleague had shot to major movie stardom. That had to have been something!

It'd be like if one of us made the cover of one of the world's most influential publications. We'd definitely talk about it here!

Molly was a bigger star at this time because movie actors almost always get more publicity and money than TV stars. They are better known worldwide. The girls were restricted from making movies when they were on the show. Mindy could only do "The Boy Who Could Fly" and that was a TV movie.

Oh, well, then I should probably mention I've just made the cover of Newsweek. It's because I was just made vice president of my company. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got to head over to Bergdorf's. Just have to make a quick call downstairs.

And if someone wasn't there at that time, we can say, "Nevermind. You had to be there."
