Janet didn't have an immediate change of clothes, so that explains the towel. (She wasn't going to pit her sweaty outfit back on). Chrissy's dancing was in line with her character. Plus, Mr. Roper was no longer their landlord, so maybe they felt freer around him.

As for Jack- Jeffrey P. Brookes III didn't exactly come off as someone to be scared of, so Jack not backing down made sense (also, someone mentioned that he did come on strong against a man in a prior episode of TC).

Maybe I didn't look closely enough, but Janet's hairdo on that Ropers episode looked similar to what it was on the episode in which Jack's an escort for Lana? How different could it have been, as that's when she got the new cut for the season. It was probably filmed around the time TC shot the first of its season 4 episodes.

Was Chrissy's crazy-ponytail hairstyles ever the same from episode to episode? They seemed to be facing one way one episode, facing another, another episode, adding another here or there. hehe I don't know. And then toss in those bangs, it was too much.

NOPE lol I wish I could so a screen shot but Janet never had that hairstyle on TC and neither did Chrissy. I think it was because this was a ROPERS episode so they were not there normal TC characters;

Also as a note- Janet and Chrissy were dancing close with Mr. Furley on his first TC appearance (even hoisting him into the air)- so their closeness to Roper was not so unusual after all.

Probably not, but that was when the "sexy Janet" era started. Plus, again, what clothes would she have put on, something from Helen's wardrobe? (though I do wonder what she put on before leaving the place- maybe she threw her outfit in the wash)

Janet's hair was in the transition phase in this episode, transitioning from the big curly hair she had in the early seasons to the pixie she has in the later seasons.

Also I don't think Jack was always yellow in 3's Company.... He often would fight back, it's just when he saw someone was WAY tougher then him, he'd back down as many would

He did stand up for Furley in season 7 at the beagle.
