Wow … hard to pick just one. Keeping Up Appearances, Vicar of Dibley, As Time Goes By and Waiting For God are all favorites. Top pick has to split … they’re so different … but would go to Fawlty Towers and Last of the Summer Wine.
Don’t know whether these would fit in this category, but if you extend it to full hour comedy-dramas, I have to give the nod to William and Mary and Doc Martin. |

Fawlty Towers and Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em are neck and neck for my top Britcom. I so wish Some Mothers was more accessible to the US, saw what I could of it online but my PBS affiliate said it was not available to them. Yes, Minister/Yes, Prime Minister is a strong #3. There is a big gap after the top three, then Are You Being Served? is #4.

I would vote for Miranda and Keeping Up Appearances if they were on the list. They should start a new poll and add those two.
