I have the DVD's of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour and recently watched the episode "How To Get Rid Of Your Wife" from season 2 in 1963-64. In the episode, Bob Newhart and Jane Withers play the roles of a married couple, Newhart is not happy with her and wants out of the marriage, and they are living in the same house formerly occupied by the Cleavers in Leave It To Beaver!
"How To Get Rid Of Your Wife" is an interesting episode of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, it's treated as a comedy for the most part, showcasing Bob Newhart's carefully planned scheme to get out of his marriage, with the usual unexpected "twist" at the end which is common for Alfred Hitchcock stories. |

Both interior and exterior. I hadn't seen this episode before, so as I was watching it I said, hey that's the Leave It To Beaver house!

That's amazing but at least 'Alfred Hitchcock' waited until LITB was over before 'borrowing' the house.
There was at least one episode of 'Love:American Style' which used 'The Brady Bunch' iconic kitchen WHILE the latter show was still in production! |

Watched it on Peacock. A dark comedy set in the Cleaver house. Lots of classic tv actors. Rated it 7 out of 10.

I saw an Alfred Hitchcock Hour or Presents and it’s the whole LITB living room area and later the LITB dining room all gathered around the table with candles. It concerns a killer in the neighborhood. We also see the entrance of the Cleaver house.

The exterior was also used on the Bill Engvall Show, on TBS from 2007-2009.

It's the Alfred Hitchcock Hour episode from season 1 titled "Don't Look Behind You", I watched it last night on the DVD. Early in the episode is an exterior scene showing the entrance to the Cleaver house, then there are interior scenes from the living and dining areas.

On the same street as the Cleaver house is the Gregg house from Bachelor Father. They also moved to a different set, probably at the same time as LITB, since they were both Universal (Revue) shows.

Jeffrey Hunter played Jesus in King of Kings. Whenever this was on as a kid it was a big deal. Notice Madge Kennedy didn't get any closeups like every other character?

Things like that were probably done quite a bit. In the episode of Gomer Pyle where Sgt Carter goes home to visit his mother, they used the exterior of Andy Taylor's home from The Andy Griffith Show, with a few minor alterations. Interior set was different.
