Default Jeopardy! fans wonder why Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings are announced differently

https://decider.com/2022/02/23/jeorp...introductions/

Longtime Jeopardy! announcer Johnny Gilbert introduces Bialik with: “And now here is the host of Jeopardy!, Mayim Bialik." But for Jennings, he says: “And now hosting Jeopardy!, Ken Jennings." As Fletcher Peters points out, the difference may be that Bialik is a full-fledged Jeopardy! host, while Jennings is still a guest-host

I would have liked to have seen former Jeopardy champion Buzzy Cohen get the gig as full time host.

My girlfriend and I are pulling for Mayim Bialik to be the permanent host. She's the right person for the job. She's very bright with a degree in neuroscience and she has great rapport with the contestants, especially during the interview segment after the first commercial break.

I liked him too. Mayim is good and Ken is not my favorite, but he's alright. I'm still hoping Aaron Rodgers gets to do it again. LOL!

She's horribly annoying and never would have had a chance except for wokeness.

(prefers either a certain Mike Richards or a certain LeVar Burton as the only regular host for what I believed to had been the "Jeopardy!" mentioned in this quotation over either one of whom I had believed to had been the hosts mentioned in this quotation also)

I suppose it would be strange if Johnny announced both of them the same way. Perhaps he asked them how they wish to be announced.

Oh shut up! It's not like there's never been a woman hosting a game show before. And Mayim Bialik's infinitely better at hosting than that arrogant know-it-all jerk Ken Jennings ever will be! Mayim Bialik should be the next permanent host of Jeopardy.

I totally agree. She's the right fit for Jeopardy.

I would like to see Mayim get the job. She'll grow into it as did Alex Trebek.
