Try changing your theme. I've read where they are rolling out a new ultra dark theme, and some users of old themes are having unanticipated problems.

I've always preferred the "Morpheon Dark" theme, since it affects only the browser's header.
Then I also installed the plug in called "Dark Reader" that allows the user to switch on and off their preferences for dark page views. 95% of the time I don't even use it, but there are times especially late at night when pages that are overwhelmingly white, really light up the room. And it's nice being able to tone that down when needed. |

I have been having the same problem with Google Chrome too but what Google Chrome does to me is when you close it and then start it up again it sometimes NEVER loads up and it freezes the entire computer and when it does this I always have to switch computers EVERY few days until the computer I use is fixed. And I know it's not me because Google Chrome rarely did this before and this shocked me. Did your computer ever ask you for an update Penny? Because it seems that the only time Google Chrome does this is after an update has been performed on the computer. I would have to say that if you're still having troubles you might want to call Best Buy or some other electronics place and ask what they recommend you to do
Good Luck Penny and hope your problem gets fixed soon Bestie |

No, it never asks for an update. I might just go back to Firefox or another browser. |

Do you know if you are using a 32 bit, or 64 bit version of Chrome?
Support for 32 bit versions have been getting dodgy for the past several months (help--> about) |

I have had no problems with Chrome today. Hopefully things have straightened out.
