My desk top screen is a scenic water scene -- it's the one I liked best when I choose a scene. |

I tend to stay away from people/place/thing type images for my desktop, preferring patterns or images of materials.
I prefer hacking the splash screens of my OS, various applications, and even insert images into my screensaver, with photos I've taken myself. Here is my current desktop:
