I recently purchased The Alfred Hitchcock Hour DVD set released by Via Vision, and I'm enjoying watching the episodes, so many good stories of suspense and drama. Just too bad there are only three seasons and 93 episodes. I wish there were more seasons of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, and fewer seasons of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Both shows are good, but I prefer the hour length format because it allows more time for story development.
Boris Karloff's Thriller series from the early 1960's is also available on DVD, that series provides an additional two seasons and about 65 hour length stories of suspense and drama. |
