How far is Friends lake from the Cleaver house? The kids can bike there, and the adults can drive there, and the place is surrounded by trees that are normally around 2,000 ft elevation, shouldn't the lake be several miles from the house?

The distance to Friends lake depends on the script. It's another one of those inconsistencies.
