Default 2021 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Have you heard anything about the 2021 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? Is it gonna be improved and will there be anything different this year?

I found some more info on the 2021 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. In addition to the new Grogu balloon Disney Cruise Line will have a new float featuring singer Jordan Fisher performing a new song in honor of Disney Cruise Line's newest ship Disney Wish. It seems that this is a smart idea for Disney to do. I also hope the parade gets good ratings this year as well

I do hope that for this year's parade that they have less Broadway Musicals and have a better preshow because if there's one thing I dislike about Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades every year is their everlasting obsession with Broadway Musicals and they should have interesting stuff for the parade preshow like how the parade balloons float and how Santa Claus came to be in the parade and how people are chosen to be in the parade and it would be fun and educational as well. I have never understood why Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade came up with the idea with using Broadway Musicals as a preshow. Also another thing I noticed about Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is that they have a lot of balloons and floats geared to infants and toddlers like Barney and Big Bird and Thomas The Tank Engine and a float with the Sesame Street cast. Why don't they have balloons and floats geared to everyone such as Marvel characters or DC Comics characters on floats and perhaps add more commercial balloons to the parade

I got to see parts of this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and I can say is it's back as you never have seen it before and they did hit a home run with it. What amazed me was the brand new Grogu balloon and it is so darn cute and my mother was amazed by it too. I did notice that a lot of the balloons and floats were from commercials and it seemed to be a commercial showcase than a parade. Also I noticed that the parade did a cool Willard Scott tribute showcasing his time as parade cohost and that was amazing. What I found shocking is how Foreigner got to be featured in the parade but for some reason they sang I Want To Know What Love Is and why they sang it is beyond me when they could've sang Waiting For A Girl Like You Hot Blooded Cold As Ice or Double Vision and the other shocking thing was I just got the song Double Vision and who would've guessed that Foreigner was featured in the parade right after I got Double Vision? Spooky isn't it? Another thing that NBC should've replaced was the Carrie Underwood sneak preview and they should've had Carrie Underwood perform on a float than a music video. But one thing that they did was improve the arrival of Santa Claus and it seems that there is indeed a new actor playing Santa Claus and he handles the role like a pro. All and all a wonderful comeback for Macy's after last year's disappointing parade

Hi, Bestie! I watched the parade. They did not show enough of the Rockettes. They were about to do their kicks and they turned to something else. They need to do a better job of showing the acts. Also, too many people in masks. That was stupid. They were all outside. Oh well, better luck next year.

One thing I want to know is why did Oil Of Olay sponsor a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in the first place? I found their float very unappealing and they should've had a better float. Another thing I found shocking is why McDonald's has a balloon of Ronald McDonald and a float when other fast food mascots should be featured? I think Wendy from Wendy's should have her own float or Jack from Jack In The Box should be a balloon too. But if they would've removed the long Sing 2 sneak peek the parade would've been better too

I think what Macy's was planning to do with last year's Thanksgiving Day Parade is they were gonna give it a new look and I think ever since Robin Hall retired and Amy Kule took over as executive producer she has made each parade the way she wants it. What I also can't figure out is on nearly every Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every year Jimmy Fallon and The Roots appear all the time and it seems to get the parade big giant ratings and they should have other NBC stars besides Jimmy Fallon to be in the parade. Another thing I can't figure out about Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade especially last year's is when they have celebrities and talent they stick old singers and bands and retro sitcom stars. Like as I mentioned earlier why why WHY did they have Foreigner perform and they performed I Want To Know What Love Is rather than Cold As Ice or Double Vision? Was it because Foreigner is making a comeback album? and what is it with the parade and retro sitcom stars? Because in this parade I saw too many and what it tells me is that these stars want to make a comeback show for NBC and the parade is their ticket to promote themselves? Lastly I noticed that the iconic New York New York theme song has been remixed and is a instrumental version of the Frank Sinatra song and also the song On Broadway is now used in the parade as well. I remember when the first version of New York New York was used in the parades and that version made the parade fun to watch but why did they remix it? I hope Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades improve in the future and be more fun to watch
