I love Freddie. I love her free-spirited, hippie, quirky, happy-to-be-different self.
I like Kim, and how she defies stereotypes of black females by showing that we can be intelligent and hard-working. And I like Dwayne, who dispels the negative stereotypes of black males. He may be kinda corny, but he has a good head on his shoulders and is very grounded. |

My favorite character is Dwayne Cleophus Wayne because he is funny, too funny. And if Kriss Kross was there longer then both Michael Wilson and Billy Thomas would be. I can learn alot from them.

Whitley, she was the star of the show. I always liked Col Taylor and his son as well. Speaking of Whitley and Col Taylor I saw a documentary with both of them that was filmed in 2003 or 2004. Glynn Turman has aged gracefully- a few grey hairs but he looks the same. Jasmine Guy has wrinkles and bags under her eyes though. She looked middle aged.

What can I say, I loved Whitley! I don't really know why, but on a lot of shows, my fave characters are the spoiled, rich brats. Like on Little House on the Prairie, I loved Nellie Oleson. I'd love to see Jasmine Guy in something these days.
