Default Anyone here LIKE season 3 to 6?

I know it changed a lot. The Chief dying was the biggest thing. But was Nell the character really that “mean?” besides the bodyslamming of Addie? And weren’t there *any* funny moments at all? I always laughed during the Live episode when Nell was all “oh well ... God giveth and God taketh away” involving their trip to Hawaii. And the Valentine’s Day episode.

So what are GOOD moments? All I hear about 3-6 is how “mean” Nell was.

I liked the episodes with the Chief the most. Therefore, yes, I like seasons 3 and 4. 5 and 6 are hit and miss. I like some but some not so much.

Nell did definitely get meaner, LOL. I think that was her dynamic once Addy came on. It was a bit over the top at times. I'm not sure why they made her that way. A little of that goes a long way. But I still really like Nell, all the way through the series.

The show jumped the shark when Joey came. The chief dying also changed the dynamic of the show completely. Nell's banter and push back to the chief was an important part of the show. There were a few hit or miss shows but I like season 1 the most followed by season 2. Every season just got worse IMHO

Unlike a lot of people, I do not think that Joey killed the show. I think that there were some pretty decent episodes that took place after he was introduced. One episode that came out shorty after Joey came aboard that I thought was especially well done was "Samantha's Protest". By season four, the show started to get stale, but it still had some merit to it. By the way, I also do not think that Addie killed the show. By season five, I think that the absence of the chief really changed the dynamic of the series. However, I thought that the real kiss of death was the move to New York! By this time, the storylines got very forced! In my opinion, they were really riding on empty at this stage in the game!

Yes. I liked season 3 and 6. I liked Joey and Addie and never felt they killed the show. I missed Chief being on the show. But the show was still just as good in the later years, in my opinion.

No, Addie did not kill the show. Her character was welcome at that point since the chief was gone. Who was going to put Nell in her place. However, the scripts were too focused around Nell and Joey starting in Season 3 and beyond. If you watch the first 2 seasons, the show was balanced between the kids, the chief and Nell. The kids took the back seat to Joey. Then it was Joey Joey Joey and Nell's tantrums. I wont even watch anything post season 3. There were still a few good shows but they were rare and they had to do with the kids. When Katie lost her shop, that was a good show because Joey was barely in it

Seasons 1 and 2 can be together, then 3 and 4 can...5 and 6 stand alone.

1 and 2 it felt new.

3 and 4 it was refreshed and THESE 2 SEASONS WERE BEST!

5 it's different because the Chief is gone

6...So many changes!

I'd say yes, I like 3-6 better than 1-2, but 1-2 have a few good episodes!

They were good. It was the last Season that sucked.
