Default MeTV Plus January 2022 Schedule Changes: Rare shows are returning to television!!!

Effective Monday, 1/17/22

https://cdnmetv.metv.com/d8tKi-16420...ff_1-17-22.pdf

What's New: Hardcastle and McCormick, Hawaiian Eye (!), Alias Smith and Jones, Lawman, The Californians, The Adventures of Jim Bowie, Stagecoach West, The Restless Gun, Bronco, and Sugarfoot

What's Leaving: Cannon

WOW!!!! This is what MeTV main use to be!!! They use to have massive changes and were willing to put different shows to shake things up. Even though they're mostly Westerns, its nice to see MeTV actually use their extensive library of tv shows and put them on air instead waiting for a rare Decades binge of it. They scaled back on Hawaii Five-O, which was needed since its also airing on H&I now. Really looking forward to Hawaiian Eye, only appropriate to have it airing alongside Five-O weeknights for a tropical vacation!

Just to make sure everyone understands this is all happening on MeTV Plus not MeTV.

OK Weigel, enough waiting. Make this channel available to more affiliates. MeTV Plus is getting better than the main MeTV network.

Good Move for MeTV Plus by adding rare classics into their schedule

Yeah Weigel needs to just make MeTV Plus as available as the main channel. It seems like they just started rolling out to more markets back in September. So hopefully this year, more people could watch it. The channel is still less than a year old. It definitely has better shows than the main network . Its like if you want action watch Plus, if you want Sitcoms want the main channel. But they should have a better balance on the main channel and could use a bigger shakeup.

As far as I know, I don't receive the MeTV Plus channel either, only the regular MeTV.

After looking at the current MeTV Plus schedule, the one show I would tune in for if I could watch is the season 2 episodes of Burke's Law because that season has not been released on DVD. I am assuming MeTV Plus shows the season 2 episodes, not just season 1.

Regarding the rest of the MeTV Plus schedule, the westerns don't interest me, and the other shows on the schedule that I'm interested in I already have on DVD, so the only thing I'm missing out on is season 2 of Burke's Law.

I forgot to mention this months ago but I have xfinity stream and they added a bunch of channels. ME-TV, Decades, H/I etc. I don't watch anything on those channels. Now, maybe about a month or so ago, they added ME-TV Plus. The only shows I watch on ME-TV Plus is Mayberry RFD and Mama's Family.

"Rare Shows are Returning to Television" on a channel virtually no one gets.

MeTV Plus is only being carried by Weigel affiliates so far. Hopefully they expand coverage and show up on more affiliates sometime this year.

This is nice that there are a lot of channels that air Classic TV. What is not good though is that the channels can only be seen by some and not all. Therefore denying the audience shows that viewers want to see but have no chance because it stays on the same channel.

Example Dwayne Hickman from The Many Loves Of Dobbie Gillis just passed away and we can’t get a detication marathon of Dobbie on Me TV or Me TV plus BUT perhaps you can on Decades.

MeTv+ has some great programming (looking forward to Hawaiian Eye at last!) -- but in the LA market they need to upgrade the digital compression - not as detailed as the regular MeTV broadcast or Decades (even when showing the same masters).

We used to have have problems with pixilation on dissolves on regular MeTV here. You never know where the problem is exactly, esp. when you get the channel on cable like i do--but eventually that problem went away.
