Default How in the world could this happen on Supermarket Sweep and what would you have done?

When I was watching Supermarket Sweep on Hulu this morning I saw something that really shocked me and when I saw this happen I think i'll give up watching Supermarket Sweep after seeing what happened and I hope Supermarket Sweep lets this team have a second chance again. During the first Super Sweep I couldn't believe my eyes that Rudy and Jordan "The team that played" wasted the entire Super Sweep trying to search for the very first clue which was Chinet plates and it was a super easy clue but the guys spent nearly the whole Super Sweep trying to find the Chinet plates and the guys finally located the Chinet plates the timer ran out before they could grab the Chinet plates and Leslie told them "See they were right behind you" and the guys were a bit angry. But at least the second Super Sweep was easy and the second team won easy as pie. If you and your friend were competing in Supermarket Sweep during the Super Sweep and this happened to you would be shocked too. I hope this team gets a second chance and the producers should offer an apology for a difficult clue

You said it was “a super easy clue” and then that it was “a difficult clue”.. so which is it?

Hi, Bestie! I say give them a chance to walk away. If they can't get the clue, why waste all of our time? Keep the game moving. What do you say?

In the history of Supermarket Sweep when David Ruprecht hosted the 1990 version I don't recall what happened in the first Super Sweep on last Sunday's episode ever done on the David Ruprecht version in the original bonus round. But the producers should investigate why this happened and they should at least offer the first team that did this some extra cash and make sure nothing like this happens again on Supermarket Sweep in the future

They should get a free trip to Disneyland.

You have to earn the $5,000, it shouldn't just be a freebie. While it was a tough first clue, they knew it was in the paper products section and should have looked harder there. SPOILER ALERT: I actually saw tonight's episode first then the episode from last week right after. So first off I saw the exact same thing happen two episodes in a row, except the opening clue from tonight's episode was easier. Producers don't owe these contestants a thing. They still get to keep what they earned in the big sweep, but an epic fail like this does not deserve a second chance. There are plenty of other game shows where you only get to keep the amount won against the losing contestants if you fail to do what is required in the bonus round.

The time limit is already at 90 seconds, so "extending" it to 60 seconds would reduce a whole third of the time limit. I couldn't vote in the poll because I don't agree with any of your options.
