"And experts determined his blood alcohol level when he was found most likely wasn’t high enough to kill him."
most likely. Well I guess they're right. Anything is possible, but most likely not that. Maybe they thought they searched the ravine where Kurt was found, but missed that particular spot. It happens all the time. Maybe he had a bad drug trip and died. Was it cold enough in Cleveland that time of year to slow decomposition at all? Remember reading elsewhere that it was determined that Eugene Kvett (sp?) died from falling. Wonder if Kurt died the same way. |

This is one of the few cases where I think it's a possibility that something happened at the party and panicked teenagers dumped the body.
But I think it's also very likely he walked away from the house and perhaps died from hypothermia. |

I like that this case has gotten recent renewed attention. But I think the only way to finally get answers is to figure out a way to get Clayton Sams, Debbie Sams and Susan to talk. They know everything. They know every detail that could have given the Sovas some peace of mind. But they haven't talked in 40 years and I don't see them talking any time soon.
They were busted lying to the Sovas multiple times. Their calculated but extremely bizarre 3:00 a.m. phone call to the Sovas where they said, "Um, umm...we heard a noise downstairs. Maybe it's Kurt?" still reeks of a desperate attempt to make the Sovas think Kurt was out of the house and they too didn't know where he was. There was underage drinking at this party and most likely plenty of drug use so the roommates had more trouble on their hands than just a teenager who died under their roof. What ended up saving their asses was an extremely inept police department who already had a few corrupt officers on their staff. The dead end will remain a dead end unless you ever get these people to talk. |

the article says they questioned and polygraphed the people that last saw him alive.; the party people. they obviously passed since they did not get anything new out of it/ some one needs to come out of the wood work on this one. |
