TV "B Positive" Gets New Opening / D.B. Sweeney Joins

The new main title of the CBS series "B Positive" will debut in an all-new episode of the sitcom, now in Season 2 (Thursday, Oct. 28, 9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjHOqaQNWnw

D.B. Sweeney is set for a heavily recurring role in Chuck Lorre’s CBS comedy "B Positive". The role reunites Sweeney with executive producer Lorre with whom he worked on "Two and a Half Men".

Sweeney plays Bert, a cook that works at the Valley Hills assisted living facility. He can be a little dense, and his haphazard cooking leads to more than a few disappointing meals. But his new boss, Gina, continues to support him. She sees potential, and a lot of herself, in Bert.

I don't think it'll save the show for a third season, but it's an impressive change.

I like the new opening much better. The other one was sort of weird.

Not sure if he is a new character but yesterday I noticed the guy who used to play Benson on the Benson TV series. Cheers and happy weekend!

No, Robert Guillaume died 4 years ago. Who you saw was Ben Vereen.

I didn't like this show last year. But the new "spin" has made the show enjoyable.

Do any of you think that the show has intentionally been reformulated? Specifically, has the blonde stollen the show from the intended star, or was she the intended star all along?

Seems to me that they have switched gears, as evidenced in her getting a spotlight role in the show's new opening.

Of course, I never heard of either one of them before this show, I guess Annaleigh Ashford actually has some prior creds, that I was unaware of.

He looks awkward & out of place on this show. Looks like it was done to meet a quota or something.

I thought of Drew more as the star last year. It was mainly about his dialysis group, his kidney donor, his ex wife and daughter. But they’re definitely reformatting now to make Gina more the main char

This show seems kind of confused about where they want to go with it.

I DO like the new opening. I just wish it looked a little more like Gina was actually singing.
