Oh No Overrated and disappointing Restaurants?

I went to Burger Fi, as it is constantly being highly praised and raved about. It was expensive and I didn't like the food much. ☹️I was expecting a phenomenal meal, and it was so disappointing. ☹️ I honestly would have preferred a Burger Meal from McDonald's, Checkers, Wendy's or Burger King. So disappointed in Burger Fi. ☹️

Five Guys is okay, but I don't get the hype.

I love Culver's, and would prefer a burger there over Five Guys any day.

The Five Guys hype is their "Any toppings," you want and their HUGE fries sizes. Their "Small," fries are the LARGE sizes at MOST eateries. I think their large fries are the equivalent of the super size fries at McDonald's (Remember bthr Super Sized deal at McDonald's? Their end came when a guy got sick after eating NOTHING but McDonald's Super Sized Meals for a month in order to make a Documentary. People were SHOCKED and disgusted after that movie and Super Sized died)

Denny's

The few times I ever tried to eat there, I ALWAYS got a tummy ache.

The last time, I thought I'd have some rice pilaf thinking there was no way anyone could make that inedible and flavorless but they sure DID it and it gave me another tummy ache.

From that point on, I've NEVER eaten there and would rather go hungry than attempt to eat there again.

I remember the Super Sized deals, but rarely got them, myself. I don't need that much soda. 44 ounces is way too much.

I never had that problem at Denny's, but you HAVE to trust your gut!

I actually like Denny's. So much that I named one of my characters Denny. But I can see why you don't like Denny's since you get tummy aches. On a side note, a Woman called Denny's "Nasty ass Denny's," and said she hated it. So I guess you and she are in the same boat.

She said she agreed to meet a blind date at Denny's, a blind date she met on Plenty O Fish, a Dating App. She said when she got there, he was already eating, and she thought that was strange, but brushed it off and decided to still blind date him. He later "Went to the bathroom,"(You guys know where this is going, right? I'll tell it anyways) She realized he was "In the bathroom," a long time and asked a Male Employee to go check on him. She was having suspicions that he ditched her so that she would be stuck with both of their bills, but didn't tell the Employee this. The Employee checked on her blind date, and sure enough, he was gone.

She was upset he left her and stuck her with the bill for both of them. She paid both meals and warned other Ladies on YouTube to make sure they have money when going on a blind date. Her blind date ended up being notorious Serial Dine and Dasher Paul Gonzalez, who had done this to Multiple Women. Set up a blind date on Plenty O Fish, and ditch them with restaurant bills for both of them. When I heard about Paul Gonzalez, I wondered if he was the one who did this to her at Denny's. On another Video about him, this Woman was like,"That's the man who did this to me at Denny's! " I knew it. Paul was arrested for doing this to Multiple Women. He even scammed a hair Salon, getting a hair color job and a haircut and then running out the door, even stealing their smock!

The restaurant I have tried and was disappointed with was Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and when Popeyes opened miles away from my area Mom and I were excited to try it and so we got Popeyes and Mom and I tried Popeyes we found that the chicken and biscuits were great but the Cajun Fries were disappointing and when I first saw them I thought they were gonna be red colored like hot fries but I took a bite and there was no spice at all. When we tried Popeyes a second time the chicken was great but the red beans and rice tasted like refried beans and Spanish rice and so we never have eaten there again. I used to eat El Pollo Loco but even though they have great chicken I feel that they're overhyped by having too many commercials and they always run out of special deals

What I hate about Popeye's is their expensive meals. A 2 thigh, fries, drink, and biscuit is about $8 when a similar KFC meal with a cookie is about $5.88.

Shake Shack:

Not bad but I can get good shakes at several local venues for FAR less money! IMO, it's only worth seeking out if one doesn't know where to find local soda shops or ice cream parlors (but at least I got no tummy ache from the cuisine- which it takes a REALLY bad meal for that to happen for me).

You can get a milkshake from Burger King or McDonald's for about $3.21.

Shack Shack Milkshakes are about $5.29 and if you include whipped cream $5.79. At McDonald's or Burger King, you can get a Milkshake and a hot fudge Sundae for less than a Shake Shack Milkshake with whipped cream!

I just ate at Firehouse Subs for the first time, got a foot long steak and cheese, and was disappointed with how little filling the sandwich had, for $15.00 there was only about a quarter inch layer inside the bun, and that was a mixture of the shredded meat plus the add-in veggies...I felt ripped off.

Funny how Burger King has gone from my favorite burger 35 years ago, to my least favorite today, but their "100% beef blubber" patties really suxxor.

Mc Donalds, I really hate getting my sandwiches served just barely above room temperature, and that seems to have become their norm.

And, while I really used to enjoy Wendy's, after seeing all the hype about their new french fries, I finally went out specifically to try them, and the fries they gave me were all shriveled like your fingers get when you've been swimming. I guess mine were sitting in the rack under the warmer lamps long enough that all the steam inside the fries had bled off, leaving me "french shrivels" they sukked.

About Wendy's "Hot and crispy," fries, I ended up paying $2.13 for small fries which would be $1.07 at Burger King value size and the Wendy's "hot and crispy," fries didn't taste all that good to me either. I could have gotten two value fries at Burger King for literally 1 penny more.
