Default My sister in Law has Covid; This is bad

My sister in Law , Stacy, is on a ventilator with 2 collapsed lungs. Not expected to live. She has M S and what apparently happened was after she got the Covid shot she was given her MS med which combined with the shot shut down her immune system. She had been in and out of
ICU since August and there is nothing more they can do to save her. Just a waiting game now. She is 52 . It's a sad sad thing. In the picture below she is on the right and that's her daughter and my niece Tabitha.

Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law. Maybe they can find some way to treat her, I know it sounds bad but don't give up hope.

So sorry to hear this, PL. You are in my thoughts during this difficult time. I lost my cousin due to Covid complications in July, and almost lost my uncle, who is in his 90s (he recovered, but still cannot taste).

Horrible news about your sister in law. 52 is way too young to die, just a couple of years older than me... very scary. I hope she's not suffering and I hope the hospital staff is making her comfortable. Stacy and Tabitha are in my thoughts and so are you, Penny Lane. Try to stay strong.

I don't know if they knew . She got the shot before her regular MS infusion. But there sure hasn't been enough time yet to test the vaccine with all meds. I really don't like thinking that maybe dying this way would save her from the eventual horror of Multiple Sclerosis. I knew a lady who suffered for years with MS and it was just devastating! Like what happened to Annette Funicello. But Stacy seems to have the slow progressing form of MS so maybe it would not be as bad. We are praying for a miracle.
