Thanks for asking, I have worked in the television industry for 30 staight years and have been a television archivist since 1979 when I got my first VCR for $800 and VHS tapes were $20 a piece....lol....since then and being in the TV business I have been able to collect rare gems and some not so rare on many professiona TV station formats such as 3/4 inch and one inch videotape. I have television station masters dating back to the 1950's....I have no formal list, it's all in my head and someday I will watch it all as I actively pursue and enjoy the hobby.....my main interests are sitcoms, game shows, some crime shows and many types of movies, I have extremely eclectic tastes, meaning I enjoy Ma & Pa Kettle movies, as well as Sandra Dee, Debbie Reynolds, Ozzie & Harriet, Sonny & Cher Variety Shows to some oddball one season series like the 80's Ann Jillian sitcom "Jennifer Slept Here" to yes "Saved By the Bell", "Blossom", etc.... thank you again for asking and it was a pleasure to "Meet" you here on the boards.

PS....Yes I actually proudly have resided 5 minutes where Ozzie Nelson spent his childhood for most of my life, his house still stands to this day and "Ozzie Nelson Drive" is about a block away from it! I went to the dedication ceremony in the early 1990's when his brother, Matthew & Gunner attended.

Default "OZZIE'S GIRLS"...

...was produced on videotape for 26 episodes in the 1973-'74 season. After the original pilot aired on NBC in September 1972- and rejected the series for their fall schedule- there was enough interest in it for Ozzie to produce it for first-run syndication. But it wasn't successful enough to warrrant another season...

Plus, sadly, by the time the show finished its one season of production, Ozzie was already ill with the liver cancer that claimed his life in 1975. I read in one of the bios on Rick that one day on the set of Ozzie's Girls, Ozzie was stricken with such horrible pain in his side that he had to be taken to an emergency room; and then later that year he was diagnosed with the cancer.

Such a shame for a guy who always took care of himself - didn't smoke or drink and loved his ice cream. I don't think Harriet or Rick ever got over his death. "Ozzie's Girls" reminds me a bit of "The New Leave it to Beaver", with Wally and the Beav as grown ups. Beaver was divorced with two sons, Wally married Mary Ellen Rogers and had a daughter, Kelly, and a son. Eddie Haskell ran a crooked construction business and subscribed to Playboy. And Mrs. Cleaver still looked lovely carrying a plate of cookies for the boys.

I knew the girl who played Ozzie's neighbor's daughter. I was 10 at the time, and she went to my school. I'd guess she was about 7ish, and her sister was in my class. She told us that when her character would be sitting at Ozzie's table eating "ice cream", that it was really mashed potatoes!!!

Yipee! Just ran across this today. There's 3 episodes (other than the pilot.)

I watched them again today, and I couldn't help but notice how Ozzie seemed to have lost quite a bit of weight from when the series went off the air in '66 til these episodes in '72. I know it's 6 years, and he was in his late 60's but Harriet looked and sounded exactly the same as she did in 1966. Ozzie's voice also didn't seem quite as strong in these episodes. It was all a little bitter sweet as I know Ozzie was having health issues around this time.

I am sure it hit David hard as well.

I saw 1 episode, it was OK on Youtube. Never was a big Ozzie and Harriet fan anyway.

Talking Where R The Goils?

I remember watching this show when it was first on. I remember really only 2 things about the show today, 1 it was in color, so that impressed me and 2 it had some really hot girls in it. I remember also enjoying the show and was a bit sorry it was over so fast. I think it was one of those 7:30 pm shows that would be on before the network shows started, a syndicated thing like Match Game PM was on at 7:30 pm.

I watched most if not all of the episodes on YouTube some years back. It was okay.

I've seen a few episodes--it's been years--they're on some cheap, unofficial DVD. Some of the episodes are in color on it, some not.
