I've been watching season 1 of the show non stop since December or so of 2004. Since age 14 and now 17 years later, I still find it the most entertaining of the other seasons.

It was difficult for me to select my favorite episode(s) from that particular season, because nearly every episode from Strokes' inaugural year was a true gem; aside from the aforementioned "The Trip," there wasn't a single stinker that season. If I had to pick only a few favorites from the first season, mine would be "Movin' In" (the premiere episode), "The Social Worker" (a social worker suggests to Mr. Drummond that Arnold and Willis both belong in an African-American household), "Mother's Last Visit" (Mr. Drummond's opinionated mother pays a visit), "Prep School" (Arnold and Willis both enroll at Mr. Drummond's childhood prep school), "The Trial" (Arnold is accused of placing his goldfish, Abraham, in Mr. Drummond's jacuzzi), "The Club Meeting" (Willis invites his buddies from Harlem to Mr. Drummond's penthouse apartment), "No Time For Arnold" (Arnold feigns bedwetting in order to seek attention), "The Relative" (Arnold and Willis' eccentric cousin pays the boys a visit and overstays her welcome) "Willis' Privacy" (Willis demands his own bedroom after Arnold continually bothers him) "Mrs. Garrett's Crisis" (Mrs. Garrett has a midlife crisis and rethinks her position as Mr. Drummond's housekeeper), "The Job" (Willis obtains his first part-time job, with disastrous results), "Getting Involved" (Arnold witnesses a mugging), "Willis' Birthday" (Willis wants to celebrate his birthday in Harlem, much to Mr. Drummond's chagrin), and "The Girls' School" (the backdoor pilot for "The Facts Of Life"). Enjoy your day! |

Season 1 is the best. But Seasons 2-4 are okay too

No. I prefer 1980-1985.
