When I was watching Supermarket Sweep there was a team playing named Team Halo-Halo and it made me curious to know what halo-halo is. All I know that it's an dessert that's really popular in The Philippines and is sold in some Chinese restaurants. Has anyone had halo-halo and what exactly is in it?

Halo-halo is the ultimate summertime treat. It is a layered dessert consisting of sweetened beans, fruits, shaved ice drizzled with evaporated milk, and ice cream.

Halo Halo is absolutely delicious!

Hmm. Those aren't like any beans I have ever had. But I doubt something like that is available where I am anyway.

That is too bad, Filipino cuisine/ desserts ( except for Balut and Kamaru) is delicious
