In the overnight MeTV appears to doing the very old TBS thing, and starting their shows at :05.

To start it they add 5 minutes to Perry Mason, somehow. They may have scheduled one of those horrible 5 minute mini-infomercials every night.

I noticed that! It is odd. I wonder what the reason is for them doing this.

MeTV Network will begin airing a longer 65-minute version of “Perry Mason” in the 11:30pm- 12:35am ET/PT time period. All subsequent programming will slide down accordingly, and as a result the remaining late night shows will air off-clock by 5 minutes until the 5:00am ET/PT hour. “Barnaby Jones” will be shortened to air in the 4:05- 5:00am ET/PT time period

this only for the 11:30pm Perry Mason

Longer "Perry Mason" episodes as in uncut? Or just longer timeslot?

According to Wikipedia the run time for Perry Mason is :52. MeTV runs :07 commercials per half hour, which is :14 per hour. Which would total 1:06.

My understanding is the extra time is content. It’s primarily content that would have been edited out due to commercial breaks being different now than when the show first aired.

This is interesting, so they are giving an extra 5 minutes to Perry Mason and taking away 5 minutes from Barnaby Jones.

I don't watch Perry Mason but with the extra 5 minutes, maybe the Perry Mason episodes will be shown complete and uncut?

On the Barnaby Jones DVD's from VEI, most of the episodes are edited versions trimmed down to 46 minutes and as far as I know MeTV runs these same Barnaby Jones episodes from the DVD's.

I guess this is the New Fall Schedule? lol. We wanted Change and we are getting it. If they are following TBS if I remember correctly and perhaps they can do this on Sunday’s….

3:35pm The Flintstones

4:35pm The Brady Bunch

5:05pm The Addams Family

5:35pm Laverne & Shirley

6:35pm Leave It To Beaver
