Default How THIRSTY was Michael in this episode?

After all the SHET he got away with, he decides he wants to move in with a white girl

I definitely couldn’t see Season 1 Michael staying with someone white, alone.

Talk about hypocrisy

I hated how they made the girl's parents out to be a couple of doofis' and I hated that the father only saw Michael as protection for his daughter, like Michael was some sort of attack dog.

GT Fans pointed out Cindy's Parents meant well and their hearts were in the right place, they were just Goofy and ditzy. Maybe if they came off as being.open minded without being Goofy and ditzy, the episode would have been better.

No, it seemed like they were being written as clueless, doofy white people. I hated that they were written that way. It was too over-the-top and unbelievable.

I agree but its not the first time the show and writers did this. Remember when Michael did not do well on a test assessment and the goofy white guy with the exploding calculator played the stereotypical, stupid, clueless white person.

Thelma's play also had a clueless white woman.

The white dad did play a good clueless person because he later became the clueless idiot cop on Gimmie A Break

The White Woman for Thelma's Play seemed more like a Spineless Pushover than Clueless to me....

That's what I had the impression of! Makes you wonder where he was going to college at.

Michael was probably on the phone late at night “conversing” with Cindy

No problem with staying in an apartment with a female but WHY was he so content about staying with Cindy first of all and WHY was he THAT alarmed when the parents came
