It's 2021...what's the hold up for real? This was a very solid show with a great cast and a lot of good episodes.

Amen is an American sitcom produced by Carson Productions that aired on NBC from September 27, 1986 to May 11, 1991. Amen was sold into syndication shortly after finishing its run on NBC and Universal Pictures' MCA Television unit was awarded the syndication rights; it went on to have a prolonged run in off-network syndication that lasted into the 21st century. With Comcast in the picture I doubt we will ever see a DVD release. I bet Comcast uses it as leverage to get people to subscribe to a paid tier of Peacock.

I used to watch it on youtube. Now, I can catch it on weekday mornings on GetTv from 9 am to 10 am. I love this show. If the full series ever came out on DVD, I would surely buy it.

Reverend Johnny was funny. The episode "Dueling Reverends" was hilarious when Johnny and Ruben were trying to out-do eachother after that funeral.

The kid who played Reverend Johnny was a really good actor and he was awesome and very convincing as a Reverend.

BTW, who do you think won in the battle of the Dueling Reverends? I would call it a tie between Ruben and Johnny.
