Which fall schedule do you like best?

The fall season is almost here and while the new primetime lineups are as bad as ever, the main classic TV retro channels are busy adjusting their schedules to give you the best possible lineups with both new and old favorites to watch. Which one do you think has done the best job? I'll give you my thoughts below as we break down each lineup by different time slots using the new fall schedules from each of the main retro channels:

Mornings

5 to 7 am

BEST: Antenna TV: I Dream Of Jeannie and Bewitched
WORST: Decades: Dark Shadows and The Millionaire

7 to 10 am

BEST: Antenna TV: Jack Benny, Burns and Allen, Father Knows Best
WORST: Rewind: Growing Pains, Who's The Boss?, 227

10 am to Noon

BEST: Decades: Petticoat Junction and Family Affair
WORST: Me TV: In The Heat Of The Night and The Waltons

Afternoons

12 to 2 pm

BEST: Decades: The Lucy Show and I Love Lucy
WORST: Me TV+: T J Hooker and Matt Houston

2 to 4 pm

BEST: 1. Decades: Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke
2. CHCH: Make Room For Daddy, My Three Sons, Andy Griffith, and Get Smart
WORST: Rewind: Dear John and Head Of The Class

4 to 6 pm

BEST: Decades: Bob Newhart, Newhart, and The Odd Couple

OVERALL RANKINGS

1. DECADES - A solid and consistently good group throughout the lineup. The only weak spots are in prime time and early mornings but that shouldn't prevent you from subscribing to it.

2. CHCH - It doesn't lead in any category but, if you look at the entire lineup from top to bottom, (10 am to 6 pm), you'll see it matches up nicely against the others except for the 5 pm slot.

3. ANTENNA TV - The better of the 2 main US retro channels. The lineup tends to follow a weird pattern. It starts out great in the mornings and afternoons but drops off badly after 5 pm and never recovers.

4. Me TV - This channel follows the opposite pattern as Antenna. It's bad during the day but improves greatly at night. The westerns need to go soon but the programmers won't touch them, otherwise the ranking would be higher.

5. Me TV+ - Not a good start for the new subchannel. It tries to follow the same pattern as its namesake and fails badly, except on Saturdays when the lineup is outstanding. If the rest of the week was like that, I would have it in first place easily!

6. Rewind - Another new channel off to a bad start although saying it's bad is just being kind for now. The only shows that I would want to see on it at the moment are "Family Ties", "Diff'rent Strokes", "The Facts Of Life", "Mork and Mindy", and "Sabrina The Teenage Witch". The rest of them feel like one bad acid trip of 80s and 90s flashbacks that stay in your nightmares and won't leave. This channel is still new and has room to grow but it's still a long way off from even a slight promotion up the rankings.

[Old School]

It's Rewind all the way...I like the variety in shows plus it's my era.

The Facts Of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, Who's The Boss, Wings, 227, Mork n Mindy, The Hogan Family, Growing Pains, Family Ties, Head Of The Class, Designing Women and Becker are all tv shows I watched back then when they aired. The only shows that I don't watch are Dear John, Murphy Brown, Caroline In The City & Sabrina.
