I liked them both too. Wish it could have had a few more seasons.

On Moonlighting, Cybill played the perfect straight woman/foil to Bruce Willis. Cybill should have carried this on over to her later sitcom - and she did at first - but then insisted on being the one who got all the huge laughs - which didn't work for her as she played it way over the top.

Both to be exact, Cybill & Christine are beautiful when they’re doing the show together

Cybill Shepherd didn't get along with any of the other actors except Tom Wopat, who was so thankful to be getting steady work. She was incredibly jealous of Christine Baranski, whose Mary Ann was the show's breakout character, and thought Baranski flew back to Buffalo on weekends just to spite her, rather than for Baranski to see her husband. She wasn't on speaking terms with either Peter Krause who played her son-in-law or Alicia Witt (who was dating Krause by the end of the show) who played her daughter. The writers loathed her constant demands to change the scripts to make them glorify her--Alan Ball has spoken about this at great length in several venues.
