Drugs on the set - true, false, or unproven?

I read that drugs - cocaine in particular- were on the set of “Sanford and Son”, and that Foxx and Wilson used them.

I heard there was Marijuana and that Lawanda Paige provided it most of the time.... that would tap on Demond Wilson's dressing room door and was like, "I got you a little something" lol

I've read and heard that from multiple sources. In Demond Wilson's book he said that he used to use cocaine and he also said that Redd Foxx's cocaine use was "legendary."

I think the source of that rumor was Lamont himself which in an interview he said Esther supply the drugs to the cast.

But Rollo in an interview with Washingtontime denied that rumor. He said and I quote: "And there was another thing that someone who got fired from the show put out there that [actress Lewanda Page] used to supply drugs to everybody on the show. That’s a blatant-ass lie!

I've seen that interview and there's been a lot more than just that.
